Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Essay

The complaint must clearly describe the specific nature of the complaint and the relationship of the complaint to the accreditation standards. The complainant’s burden of proof is a preponderance or greater weight of the evidence.
() The MS-SLP may be completed in eight (8) terms but the program expectation is to complete the program within twelve (12) semesters.
Students must complete the program within six (6) years.

Courses will only be accepted if completed within the past 10 years of the date of enrollment in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS-SLP) program.There is no expiration date on the ASHA Knowledge Outcome courses. Courses must be completed at the college level and earned from accredited colleges or universities.Courses MUST be completed before matriculating to the graduate program.Due to the limited availability of ASHA-certified supervisors, students who live outside of the United States are not eligible for admission to the MS-SLP.Furthermore, students accepted to the MS-SLP program cannot relocate outside of the United States before the completion of the degree.Diagnosis of Language and Speech Disorders (3 credits) The course will provide procedures and techniques to assess speech and language status.The overall aim of the course is to build on the student?A student who lives within fifty (50) miles of one of these Campuses will be considered a face-to-face student and must attend classes in at the Florida Campus.These courses use video-conferencing; the students interacts with the instructor and other classmates in real-time.Course content is research-based and prepares the student to meet the requirement for the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program (MS-SLP) at Nova Southeastern University is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, (800) 498-2071 or (301) 296-5700.
