Success in the Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (health visiting) course will provide the professional qualification and eligibility to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse- health visitor.
A variation to current University regulations has been approved to enable those students who registered for, and successfully completed, the PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting) course as the target award, to register to complete the masters qualification by taking the 60 credit dissertation unit (Service Improvement Project).

Through negotiation with your personal academic tutor you will be enabled to identify your areas of interest and the areas in which you feel you need to develop.
