You can pretty much guarantee no one's going to read them.
Just follow their guidelines with the length and you will be okay.

I'm just curious to know what kind of things they're looking for in these essays, what should I include in them vs what I should leave out, etc. I'm an excellent essay-writer but I obviously feel like these are based more on the content of the essay rather than how things are said, if that makes sense. I think one of the important things is to come across as enthusiastic. ' and 'cultural differences', just do your research about Korea and really big up any experiences of cultural differences that you have.
